Hello and welcome back to the Yarn Over podcast. A podcast covering all things crochet with some incredibly talented people from around the world, sharing their journeys and their top tips. I’ve learnt so much since recording these and find it so interesting listening to others talk about what they do. I hope you feel the same. This week we’re chatting to the lovely Merion and Jamie from Lovely Crafts TV.

It’s a pleasure having Merion and Jamie on the Yarn Over Podcast, I always leave our chats with cheek ache from laughing and this chat was no exception.

Merion is an editor of Love Crafts who started a Podcast with co host Jamie connecting with crafters from all around the world and I had the pleasure of being their second guest back in 2020 just before Lock Down, if you’d like to go back in time and give it a listen click here.

GETTING ORGANISED!

We chat all things organisation from planners, apps and the simplicity of pen and paper. Discussing procrastination to getting things done but however you chose to keep yourselves organised join us as we chat timescales when it comes to seasonal crafting and gifting your makes. Between us I believe we’ve invented a new term ‘procraftination’.

CHRISTMAS CROCHET

It comes as no surprise to share that the earlier you start your handmade Christmas gifts the more enjoyable the build up becomes when you can spend time on the quicker more decorative makes to help you get in the Christmas spirit. You heard it here first that it’s never too early to start your Christmas crafting and for most starting in July is where its at! Merion shares her current crochet wip before our conversations floats onto the topic of mermaids. There’s never a dull moment with Merion and Jamie around, expect the unexpected with laughter guaranteed.
