    Hello Sarah,

I am currently working on Round 1. In the pattern it says to chain 3 between each set of 3 trebles, but in the video you only chain 2 between each. I decided to follow the video instructions but wondered if this was a typo or something? I love your videos, I have only been crocheting 12 months and you and Blossom Crochet got me started!!

Hi Becky – I just wanted to let you know that the video tutorial and the pattern above are still slightly different. Just starting out so was trying to follow the pattern and then double check on the video but that doesn’t work as they are different. I have literally just started out (only been going a couple of weeks) so will keep trucking. Thank you. Kind regards, Serena

    Hi Becky,
Like others have said above, the video doesn’t match the written pattern. Like above, I was also double checking my work by watching the video after doing the first 2 rounds following the written pattern. I’m also a newbie learning how to crochet. Thank you

Thank you for pointing this out and I’m sorry if it’s caused any confusion for you. Both the written instructions and the video tutorial are correct so following either will give you a solid granny square, but they don’t match exactly so I will have that looked at

First I need to thank you for teaching me the magic ring on your video. I usually cannot follow videos to save my life. ❤️

Could this pattern be done in half double crochet (US term)? And could I keep going and make a gigantic square as an afghan?

    xx, Michele

Hi Michele You’re welcome, I’m happy to hear my videos have helped you You could work this in half double crochets, but would need to chain two to start each round instead of three. You can just keeping following the pattern and adding rounds until you reach the size you want
